The Battle Plan

Proverbs 20:18 "Every purpose is established by counsel: And with good advice make war." (KJV)

"Make plans by seeking advice; if you wage war, obtain guidance." (NIV)

"Plans succeed through good counsel; don't go to war without the advice of others."(NLT)

If you are in the business world today, you have probably already realized it's a battlefield out there! There are so many pitfalls, so many things that can go wrong, so much competition, so many people out to steal what you have worked so hard to accomplish.

Should you get angry or defensive? Absolutely not!

Although it is a battle, the battle is the Lord's if you have submitted your life and business to Him. He is the "Commander in Chief," and you must simply align with His will and His strategy.

We are also instructed in today’s verse to seek good advice, counsel and guidance. You cannot succeed without this. Obviously, there is no better counsel or guidance than what comes from God Himself, so your search must begin with prayer and meditation on His Word.

However, He will also send people and sources of information into your life and business, so that you can be equipped with everything you need to move ahead. It might be a newspaper article or book that you discover, something you find on the internet or a suggestion from a friend or business associate.

There’s no limit to what God can use to help you with your business strategy.
Keep an open mind and a thankful heart.

God’s plan will not fail, and if you align yourself with Him in all things, you won’t either. There’s no better “battle plan” than this!
